We shot the Navratri drop in our own city, in the week before the garba grounds open. Lawn for the afternoons, georgette for after dark, and one haldi kurta for every man who said he only wears beige.

Rangrez means
the dyer.
We started as a dye and print house on Surat's Ring Road, printing for other labels. In 2008 we opened a counter of our own, selling kurta lengths by the metre. Today every print still comes off our tables in Sachin, and we cut, stitch and ship from the same city.
That is how a kurta set costs ₹2,499 here and more elsewhere: no middlemen between the screen and the shelf.
